Centenary of Federation - involving Australians in celebration of the centenary and help them learn more about the history of the Federation and its significance in the past and future of the country. Excellent quiz questions organised by decade. Site includes a good timeline and a quiz.

The Federation Story - The Federation Story has a national timeline of events leading up to Federation. Each state's history can be found via links. There is also a section describing the role of key players like Sir Samuel Griffiths and Sir Henry Parkes.

  Federation Documents - Online Resources  This site has been developed by Historysmiths. Dromkeen site provides information on the Dromkeen Homestead, its gallery and exhibitions, education program and the history of this unique home of Australian children's literature. This site also links to Dromkeen's Heritage Trail. A useful site for those looking to integrate literature/arts into their Centenary of Federation program.

Federation Gateway. Launched by the National Library of Australia to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the union of six Australian colonies into one nation. The Federation Gateway contains digitised images of all the major people involved in the federation campaign, photographs and invitations.

  Focus on Federation - Past, present and future themes are explored by digital camera and processed into on-line galleries. Thirteen P - 12 schools are involved. Students select an image representing one of three themes, and write an accompanying caption.
